神々の国、さまざまな文化や民族による混沌の異世界…
インドの女性起業家でありインド文化の発信もされているアイシュワリヤ・サワルナ・ニールさんとのご縁が生まれてより、かの国がぐっと身近なものになった予感がありました。

India is a country I had been longing to visit since I was a teenager. I imagined it as a land of gods and an otherworldly world of chaos where various cultures and peoples intermixed. After I made a connection with the Indian business woman and cultural promoter Aishwarya Sawarna Nir, my dream of visiting India became much closer.

印度這個國家，是我從十幾歲起就嚮往的。 這是個由眾神，多種文化和種族組成的不同世界。 自從我與印度女企業家和文化倡導者 Aishwariya Sawarna Neil (暫譯艾絮瓦莉亞) 開始有連結後，我覺得印度離我更近了。

L’Inde, pays rêvait de mon adolescence, je l’imaginais comme un pays de dieux et un monde de chaos où s’entremêlent différentes cultures et peuples variés. Après avoir établi une affinité avec la femme d’affaires et promotrice culturelle indienne Aishwarya Sawarna Nir, mon rêve de visiter l’Inde se rapprochait…

アイシュワリヤさんと私は、共著本『TASHI-NAMI』やウェルネス製品ブランド『Kyoto Beauty Secrets By Junko Sophie』などでコラボレーションを重ねてきました。…ですから、ジャイプールで行われる彼女の結婚式に招待されたときには、本当に胸が踊りました！

Aishwarya and I began collaborating together on a book titled ”TASHI-NAMI” and “Kyoto Beauty Secrets By Junko Sophie” wellness products brand. So when I was invited to her wedding in Jaipur, I was very delighted!

Aishwariya (艾絮瓦莉亞) 和我合編寫了一本書，書名「たしなみ (或為：嗜み、意指精通熟稔）, Kyoto Beauty Secrets By Junko Sophie/潤子索菲的京都美的秘訣」*。 所以當我被邀請去參加艾絮瓦莉亞在Jaipur/齋浦爾舉辦的婚禮時，我非常高興！

Aishwarya et moi avons collaboré ensemble sur un livre intitulé ”TASHI-NAMI” et sur la marque de produits de bien-être “Kyoto Beauty Secrets By Junko Sophie”, lorsque j’ai été invitée à son mariage situé à Jaipur, j’ai été comblée de joie!

そしてそこに、京都の職人さんたちによって生み出された「京友禅サリー」のアンバサダーとして、インドとの架け橋をさせていただくという光栄が重なりました。なんと「京友禅サリー」を、インドの名だたるVIPが参列するアイシュワリヤさんの結婚式でお披露目するという運命的なご縁へと繋がったのです！

Especially because I had recently been selected as the ambassador of “Kyoto Yuzen sari,” a new series of Indian sari created by the finest Kyoto kimono designers and artisans. This has become an honor for me to be a bridge between India and Japan and to unveil these beautiful Kyoto Yuzen sari at Aishwarya’s wedding ceremony.

特別是因為我最近被選為「京都友禪紗麗*」的交流大使 ，很榮幸我能成為印度和日本之間的橋樑。 並在艾絮瓦莉亞的婚禮上揭開這些美麗的京都友禪紗麗的面紗，這似乎是冥冥之中命運的緣分連結。

J’avais été récemment choisie comme ambassadrice du “Kyoto Yuzen sari”, une nouvelle série de sari indiens créés par les meilleurs créateurs et artisans de kimonos de Kyoto. C’est devenu un honneur pour moi d’être le pont entre l’Inde et le Japon et de dévoiler ces magnifiques Kyoto Yuzen sari lors de la cérémonie de mariage d’Aishwarya.

京友禅サリーで、日本の卓越した技術を誇る手しごとを世界へ

世界各国さまざまな国を訪れていながら、くしくも今回がインド初訪問となりましたのは、きっとまさにこのタイミングに導かれるためだったのでしょう…

Even though I have traveled to many countries around the world, was it a destiny of timing that my first trip to India had only come until now?

儘管我已經到訪過世界許多國家，但我的第一次印度之行直到現在才出現，想這是老天簽定的緣分吧!

Bien que j’ai voyagé dans de nombreux pays du monde, est-ce le fruit du hasard si c’est seulement aujourd’hui qu’intervient mon premier voyage en Inde ?

贅を尽くした祝宴は、ジャイプールの宮殿ホテル「タージ・ランバーグ・パレス」にて繰り広げられました。

The extravagant wedding celebration took place at the Taj Rambagh Palace Hotel in Jaipur.

這場極盡豪華的婚宴在齋浦爾/Jaipur的皇宮酒店/ Taj Rambagh Palace Hotel舉行。

L’excentrique célébration du mariage a eu lieu à l’hôtel Taj Rambagh Palace à Jaipur.

マハラジャが所有する宮殿には、たくさんの孔雀が羽を広げて歩き周り、「インドのエレガンス」を象徴するかのようなところ。

This palace, owned by the Maharaja, is a symbol of “Indian elegance” with its many peacocks spreading their wings.

這座宮殿是由Maharaja/瑪哈拉賈 * (是梵語的頭銜，意為「偉大的統治者」)所擁有的，這宮殿有許多展翅的孔雀，就像是象徵「優雅的印度」/Indian elegance。

伝統音楽の生演奏が響きわたるウェルカムディナーに、華々しく登場したアイシュワリヤさんは、お姫様のように光り輝いていて。やっと会えた時は胸がいっぱいになりました。パンデミックの時期、ずっとオンラインでのやりとりだったにもかかわらず、私たちは姉妹のような心の繋がりを感じていたから。

Aishwarya was radiant like a princess as she made a spectacular appearance at the welcome dinner in which we enjoyed live traditional music. Our hearts were filled with joy when we finally met. We both felt a sisterly connection at our meeting after communicating online during the Covid pandemic.

在歡迎晚宴上，當我們欣賞著現場傳統音樂時，艾絮瓦莉亞盛裝亮相，如公主般光彩照人。我們終於相見了，我們的心是滿滿的喜悅。 在冠狀病毒大流行的期間，儘管我們一直只能在網路上交流，但我們心卻相繫，感覺就像姐妹一樣。

Aishwarya avait la rayonnance d’une princesse et a fait une apparition spectaculaire lors du dîner de bienvenue au cours duquel nous avons apprécié la musique traditionnelle. Nos cœurs étaient remplis de joie lorsque nous nous sommes enfin rencontrées. Nous avons toutes deux ressenties une connexion fraternelle lors de notre rencontre après avoir communiqué en ligne pendant la pandémie de Covid.

しかも、その夜は満月。これ以上の宇宙の祝福はありません。

Moreover, that night there was a full moon, giving us the feeling that the universe could not have blessed us more.

而且，那個晚上是滿月。 在宇宙中再沒有比這更圓滿的祝福了。

De plus, cette nuit-là, il y avait une pleine lune, ce qui nous a donné le sentiment que l’univers ne pouvait pas nous bénir davantage.

4日間にわたる結婚式はセレモニーとイベントの連続で、そのどれもに魂が込められているように感じました。インドの文化や価値観、繊細さや豊かさ、深い精神性を存分に感じるセレモニーの数々は私にとって強烈な体験であり、また私の感性のレベルを過去経験したことがないほどに跳ね上げてくれたのです。

The four-day wedding was a series of ceremonies and events, all of which were filled with soulful moments. The wedding was such a richly intense experience that it heightened my appreciation to the fullest extent for the values, subtlety, richness, and deep spirituality of Indian culture.

為期四天的婚禮是一系列連續的儀式和活動，所有過程都是深情的時刻。 從這場婚宴的安排可充分感受印度的文化和價值觀。它精緻豐富且充滿深沉靈性，這種強烈深刻的體驗，我的感性層面似乎已經被全面喚醒。

Les quatre jours de mariage ont été marqués par une série de cérémonies et d’événements, qui ont tous été remplis de moments émouvants. Le mariage a été une expérience d’une telle intensité qu’il m’a permis d’apprécier au plus haut point les valeurs, la subtilité, la richesse et la profonde spiritualité de la culture indienne.

初日の夜は、新郎が母親と別れ、新婦の家族の男性陣に受け入れられるセレモニーで幕をあけます。聖職者との厳かなセレモニーの最中、みなさんが口ずさむ祝詞のような歌がとても心地よく、インドへの入り口にふさわしいものでした。

The first night began with a ceremony in which the groom was separated from his mother and accepted by the men of the bride’s family. During the solemn ceremony with the clergy, the chant-like songs that everyone sang were very heartfelt and a profound introduction to Indian culture.

婚宴的第一個晚上從一個儀式開始，首先新郎與他的母親分開，接著由被新娘家的男性家屬迎接他。 由僧侶們主持的莊嚴儀式中，眾人吟唱一首似經文的歌，這序曲讓我很舒適很自然的走入印度。

La première nuit a commencé par une cérémonie au cours de laquelle le marié a été séparé de sa mère et accepté par les hommes de la famille de la mariée. Pendant la cérémonie solennelle avec le clergé, les chants chantés par tous étaient très sincères et constituaient une introduction profonde à la culture indienne.

2日目の朝。
全身にターメリックを塗り、体を清める「ハルディ」というセレモニーは陽の気にあふれています。ターメリックを塗ることは純潔の象徴で、魂に働きかけるのだそう。ゲストはドレスコードである黄色を身にまとい、喜びと高揚に満ちたひと時となりました。

On the morning of the second day, I witnessed the “Haldi” ceremony, in which turmeric is applied to the entire body to purify the body. The application of turmeric is a symbol of purity and works on the soul. Guests were dressed in yellow, as that was the dress code for the venue. The ritual was full of joy and happiness and excitement.

第二天早上是名為「Haldi」/(薑黃)的儀式，是把薑黃像陽光般塗在全身，淨化身體。 塗抹薑黃是貞潔的象徵，對靈魂起作用。 會場的著裝讓客人們都穿著黃色的服裝，這是一個充滿歡樂和興奮的時刻。

Le matin du deuxième jour, j’ai assisté à la cérémonie du “Haldi”, au cours de laquelle on applique du curcuma sur tout le corps pour le purifier, symbole de pureté qui agit sur l’âme. Les invités étaient habillés en jaune, code vestimentaire du lieu. Le rituel était plein de joie, de bonheur et d’excitation.

はじめに、花嫁と父親を引き離すセレモニーが行われます。アイシュワリヤさんの目には涙があふれて。そのあとで、女性たちが新婦に少しずつターメリックペーストを塗っていきます。

A ceremony was then held to separate the bride from her father. Tears welled up in Aishwarya’s eyes during the ritual. After that, the women applied turmeric paste little by little to the bride.

首先，一場儀式將新娘與父親分開。 儀式當中艾絮瓦莉亞的眼中湧出了淚水。 之後，婦女們將薑黃膏一點一點塗抹在新娘身上。

Une cérémonie a ensuite eu lieu pour séparer la mariée de son père. Des larmes ont coulé dans les yeux d’Aishwarya pendant le rituel. Ensuite, les femmes ont appliqué petit à petit de la pâte de curcuma sur la mariée.

しまいには、みんなで顔に髪に、全身に塗りあいっこしてダンスに興じるのです。お互いに触れ合うことによって、みんなの気持ちがぐんと近づいたのが感動的でした。

Afterwards, everyone applied the paste to each other’s face, hair, and entire body, and then they danced. It was nice to see how touching it was to see how this event brought everyone’s feelings much closer.

最後，我們接著都把它塗在彼此的臉上、頭髮和全身，然後開始享受跳舞的樂趣。 令人感動的是，每個人的感情都因為相互接觸而變得更親近了。

Chacune a appliqué la pâte sur son visage, les cheveux et tout le corps de l’autre, puis elles ont dansées. C’était superbe de voir à quel point cet événement a rapproché les sentiments de chacun.

きものでインドダンスに挑戦したのは、こよなく楽しくって。こういう時には遠慮を捨てて、お祝いの気持ちではじけるのが最高ですね！

I had so much fun trying Indian dancing in kimono. At times like this, it’s great to shed reserve and poshness and burst out in celebration!

穿著和服嘗試跳印度舞蹈很是挑戰。 在這種情況下，我就擺脫矜持和猶豫，並盡情擁抱歡樂祝賀的感覺！

Je me suis réellement amusée à essayer la danse indienne en kimono. Dans des moments comme celui-ci, il est bon de se débarrasser de sa réserve, de sa prétention et de faire la fête !

インドの結婚式では、それぞれのセレモニーのドレスコードに合わせて、ゲストも1日に何度もお色直しをします。こんなにも心躍るドレスアップの機会！マハラジャやプリンセスのように華やぐアイシュワリヤさんやみなさんを眺めるのも眼福の極みでした。

The guests also changed clothes several times a day to match the dress code for each ceremony. Such an exciting dress-up occasion! Watching Aishwarya and everyone else looking as gorgeous as Maharajas and princesses was an inspiring sight.

為了搭配每個儀式的顏色，賓客每天自主多次更換著裝。 這真是個令人興奮的裝扮盛會！ 看著
艾絮瓦莉亞和各個像君主和公主般雍容華貴的客人，讓我享盡了眼福。

Les invités ont également changé de vêtements plusieurs fois par jour afin de respecter le code vestimentaire de chaque cérémonie. Une occasion excitante de se déguiser ! Voir Aishwarya et tous les autres être aussi beaux que des Maharajas et des princesses, était un spectacle inspirant.

150名以上のゲストのほとんどが、インドの民族衣装を身につけていたのは圧巻。日本でも、揃ってきものでお祝いできたらどれだけ素敵なのか…と想像いたしました。

It was amazing to see that most of the more than 150 guests were dressed in Indian traditional costumes. I could only imagine how wonderful it would be if we could celebrate in Japan with all of our guests wearing kimonos.

在場150多位賓客中的大多數都穿著印度民族服飾，此景堪稱是傑作。 我想像這喜宴如果是在日本舉行，而且所有客人都穿著和服一起慶祝，這該是多美妙。

Le plus étonnant était de voir la plupart des 150 invités vêtus de costumes traditionnels. Je ne pouvais qu’imaginer combien ce serait merveilleux si nous pouvions célébrer au Japon, un mariage avec tous nos invités vêtus uniquement de
kimono.

午後は「メヘンディ」と呼ばれる、女性ゲストの掌にヘナで手にタトゥーを描くセレモニー。アイシュワリヤさんの手から腕、足には、すでに花婿さんとの二人の物語が、5時間もかけて描かれていました。アイシュワリヤさんは、このヘナが少しづつ消えていく日々のなかで一層思い出が深く刻まれ、結婚生活に慣れていくのだろう…と想像いたしました。

In the afternoon, a ceremony called “Mehendi” took place, in which the hands of the women participants were tattooed with henna. On Aishwarya’s hands, arms and legs the story of her and her groom had been painted. The painting took over five hours. I imagined how as the henna fades away little by little those memories will stay in her heart as she gets used to daily married life.

午後，有一場名為「Mehendi」*印度手繪紋彩的儀式，所有女客人的手都用指甲花彩繪美麗圖案。艾絮瓦莉亞則從手到胳膊腿，都畫著她和她的新郎的故事。這彩繪歷時了五個小時。 我想，艾絮瓦莉亞隨著這指甲花顏色終將逐漸褪去，她也將漸習慣婚姻後的日常生活，然而這個記憶必仍將深刻留在她心中。

L’après-midi, une cérémonie appelée “Mehendi” a eu lieu, au cours de laquelle les mains des participantes ont été tatouées au henné. Sur les mains, les bras et les jambes d’Aishwarya, l’histoire d’elle et de son marié avait été peinte. La peinture a duré plus de cinq heures. J’ai imaginé qu’au fur et à mesure que le henné s’effaçait, ces souvenirs restaient dans son cœur et qu’elle s’habitue à la vie conjugale quotidienne.

魔除けや幸運をもたらすためのセレモニー「メヘンディ」。ヘナアーティストが、私の掌に描いてくれたのは、きものの文様にも使われる大好きな「宝相華」でした。ペルシャから発祥しシルクロードを経て、正倉院にたどり着いたという伝説の花は、シルクロードを逆走して、その源に向かう私に微笑みかけてくれました。

”Mehendi” is a ceremony to protect from evil and bring good luck. The henna artist painted on my palm my favorite Housouge flower, which is also used in kimono patterns. The legendary flower, which originated in Persia and reached the grand Japanese treasure house of Shosoin, via the Silk Road, smiled at me as I traveled the Silk Road in reverse towards its origin.

「Mehendi」印度手繪紋彩是一種驅邪和帶來好運的儀式。 指甲花藝術家在我手掌上畫的是我最喜歡的「寶相華」*“Housoge”，它也用於和服圖案。 起源於波斯，經由絲綢之路抵達正倉院*。這傳說中的花朵，正對我微笑著，引領我返回絲綢之路的源頭。

“Mehendi” est une cérémonie destinée à protéger du mal et à porter chance. L’artiste du henné a peint sur ma paume ma fleur Housoge préférée, qui est également utilisée dans les motifs des kimonos. Cette fleur légendaire, originaire de Perse et parvenue à la grande maison du trésor japonais de Shosoin, via la route de la soie, m’a souri alors que je parcourais la route de la soie en sens inverse vers son origine.

結婚式は、特設会場や庭園、ホテルのサロンなど、宮殿全体で催されました。そのひとつである巨大な特設会場は、なんと毎日、テーマに合わせて装飾のすべてが作り変えられたのです！

The wedding party was held throughout the palace, in special venues, in the gardens, and in the salons of the hotel. One of the huge special halls was redecorated every day according to a theme　all the decor!

婚禮在整個宮殿、特殊會場、花園和酒店的沙龍中舉行。其中那個特殊的巨大會場，以及所有的裝飾，都根據每一天主題重新製作！

La fête de mariage s’est déroulée dans tout le palais, dans des lieux spéciaux, dans les jardins et dans les salons de l’hôtel. L’une des immenses salles spéciales était décorée chaque jour selon un thème par tout le décor !

会場の脇にはビュッフェコーナーがあって、50種類以上の食事が楽しめました。シェフが作りたてをサーブしてくれるインド料理や、焼きたてのチャパティは絶品。皆さん、好きな時に食事したり、飲んだりできるのもおおらかです。

There was a buffet area on the side of the hall with over 50 different types of food. The Indian food was freshly prepared by the chef on site and the freshly baked chapattis were exquisite. It was nice and generous that everyone could eat and drink whenever they wanted.

會場大廳的一側有一處自助餐區，供應了50多種餐點。 廚師提供的印度菜和新鮮出爐的薄煎餅非常棒。每個人都可以隨時隨心所欲地吃喝享用。

Il y avait un buffet sur le côté de la salle avec plus de 50 types de nourriture différents. La nourriture indienne était fraîchement préparée par le chef sur place et les chapatis fraîchement cuits étaient exquis. Il était agréable et généreux que chacun puisse manger et boire quand il le voulait.

夜の帷がおりたころ、4時間にわたるカクテルディナーとダンスパーティのはじまりです！瞬く星空と同じくらい、みなさん煌びやかに装って。キラキラしたものを身につけることが魔除けになると言われているため、私は「京友禅サリー」をまといました。贅を極めた宴にふさわしい京友禅サリーは輝きを放ち、目の肥えた多くの方からお褒めの言葉をいただきました。

As the night fell, the four-hour cocktail dinner and dance party began! Everyone was dressed as glamorous as the twinkling stars in the sky. Wearing sparkles is believed to ward off evil spirits, and I wore a Kyoto Yuzen sari. The Kyoto Yuzen sari had a sparkle that was appropriate for the extravagant banquet, and was praised by many discerning guests.

當夜幕低沉垂時，長達四個小時的雞尾酒晚宴和舞會開始了！ 每個人都裝扮的和閃爍的星空一樣絢麗。 據說身上穿戴閃閃發光的東西可以驅邪，所以我穿了一件京友禪紗麗。 披上京友禪紗麗散發出的光彩很適合奢華宴會，讓我受到許多的注目眼光和讚許。

À la tombée de la nuit, le cocktail dînatoire et la soirée dansante de quatre heures ont commencé ! Tout le monde était habillé de manière aussi glamour que les étoiles scintillantes dans le ciel. Porter des étincelles est censé éloigner les mauvais esprits, et je portais un Kyoto Yuzen sari. Le Kyoto Yuzen sari avait un éclat qui convenait au banquet extravagant, et a été loué par de nombreux invités avisés.

ステージでは有名アーティストのコンサートのあと、新郎新婦も入り乱れ、大音量の音楽に合わせて全員で延々とダンス。手を引っ張られた私は、ステージに上がるしかありません！みなさんと踊りながら、カタルシスが起きるほどの解放感にあふれて。

On stage, after a concert by a famous musician, the bride and groom joined with everyone and danced endlessly to the loud music. With my hand being pulled, I had no choice but to get up on stage! While dancing with everyone, I was filled with a sense of release that was cathartic.

當舞台上一位著名音樂家的音樂會結束後，接著在喧鬧的音樂中新郎新娘與大家開始一起翩翩起舞，新娘牽著我的手, 我也只好跟著上舞台了！ 和大家一起盡情跳舞時，有一種完全釋放的宣洩感。

Sur scène, après le concert d’un célèbre musicien, les mariés se sont joints à tout le monde et ont dansé sans fin sur la musique forte. Comme on me tirait par la main, je n’avais pas d’autre choix que de monter sur scène ! En dansant avec tout le monde, j’ai ressenti un sentiment de libération qui était cathartique.

日付が変わり、花火が打ち上がるとともに祝宴はクライマックスへ。こうやって、誰もが親しみを増しながら、気持ちが浄化されていくのは、インドの結婚式がもつ魔法なのかもしれません。

At midnight fireworks went off and the celebration reached its climax. Perhaps it was the magic of Indian weddings that everyone became more familiar with each other, and feelings were purified in this way.

到了午夜時分，煙火燃放，盛宴進入高潮。 以這種方式讓大家更親近熟稔的同時也淨化感情，這或許就是印度婚宴的魔力吧。

À minuit, des feux d’artifice ont été tirés et la fête a atteint son point culminant. C’est peut-être la magie des mariages indiens qui fait que chacun devient plus familier avec l’autre et que les sentiments sont ainsi purifiés.

賑やかな饗宴のあとは、打って変わって、静寂に包まれた部屋ですごすひと時。バルコニーで涼んでいると、孔雀が鳴き、鳥が囀り….結婚式の興奮とは対照的な美しい光景で、このコントラストにまた心打たれます。

After the lively feast, I spent some time in the quietness of my room. As I relaxed on the balcony, peacocks were singing and birds were chirping…It was a beautiful contrast to the excitement of the wedding festivities.

熱鬧的宴席過後，我在安靜的房間裡度過放鬆的時光。 當我在陽台上乘涼時，聽聞孔雀在鳴叫，鳥兒在歌唱……。美麗的景象與婚禮的熱鬧形成令人驚嘆的鮮明對比。

Après le festin animé, j’ai passé un peu de temps dans le calme de ma chambre. Alors que je me détendais sur le balcon, des paons chantaient et des oiseaux gazouillent … C’était un beau contraste avec l’excitation des festivités du mariage.

伝統的かつ神聖なセレモニーと、歌や踊りをふんだんに取り入れた余興が混在する結婚式。「バランスと調和」「陰陽やメリハリ」を大切にすることは、インドでも京都でも共通なのだと身をもって実感いたしました。

The wedding ceremony was a mixture of a sacred ceremony with tradition and entertainment that included a lot of singing and dancing. I also discovered that the importance of “balance and harmony,” as well as “yin and yang” in daily life is something that is similar both in India and Kyoto.

婚禮儀式結合了傳統的神聖儀式和豐富的歌舞娛樂。 我發現，能夠在日常生活中維持「平衡與和諧」以及「陰陽和張弛」的重要性在印度和京都是共通的。

La cérémonie de mariage était un mélange de cérémonie sacrée avec une tradition et un divertissement comprenant beaucoup de chants et de danses. J’ai également découvert l’importance de “l’équilibre et de l’harmonie”, ainsi que du “yin et du yang” dans la vie quotidienne, quelque chose de similaire en Inde et à Kyoto.

Le paysage pittoresque était comme un film qui prenait vie. Je me suis demandée si je pourrais, un jour, revenir à la vie ordinaire après avoir été immergée dans une beauté aussi incroyable. Une partie de moi voulait rester dans un tel monde onirique, plein de splendeur et de couleurs… La célébration a continué.
